The 'Eight Auspicious Symbols' are physical representations of enlightened qualities, and include the Parasol, the Golden Fishes, the Treasure vase, the Lotus, the Conch, the Endless Knot, the Victory Banner and the Wheel. The 'Seven Royal Symbols,' considered essential requirements for any king, are the Wheel, the Jewel, the Queen, the Minister, the Elephant, the Horse, and the General.
