Charles Goode was made a Free Brother in the Clockmakers Company in 1686. He is thought to have died in 1730. Longcase clocks by him are illustrated in Derek Roberts, British Longcase Clocks, Schiffer, 1990, p. 34, fig. 42 and p. 167, fig. 166.
