An almost identical mahogany tripod table, originally the base of a pole screen, was supplied to Sir Edward Leslie, Bt., for Tarbert House, Co., Kerry (see The Knight of Glin & J. Peill, Irish Furniture: Woodwork and Carving in Ireland from the Earliest Times to the Act of Union, New Haven & London, 2007, p. 247, fig. 181.).
