Rectangular, Christ realistically painted, raising his right hand in benediction and holding champlevé enamel Gospels in his left hand, in seed-pearl vestments, the cut-out halo enamelled with stylised floral and foliate patterns within green and blue pellet borders, the oklad similarly cloisonné enamelled in shades of blue, green and translucent red, with burgundy velvet backing, marked on lower edge
