Each with a circular red and yellow-veined breccia mottled marble top above three pairs of simulated bambo supports joined by a tripartite stretcher surmounted by a circular dish and terminating in folate cast feet

The model for this pair of gueridons was first executed by Adam Weisweiler, maître in 1778 and related examples are illustrated in P. Lemonnier, Weisweiler, Paris, 1983, p.90 and P. Kjellberg, Le Mobilier Français du XVIII Siècle, 1998, p. 868, fig. A.
