The kettle of inverted pear-shape, cast and chased overall in high relief with figures in Chinoiserie landscapes, with an overhead swing handle, the detachable cover with a finial cast as a figure with a parasol, the spout terminating in a dog's mask, engraved with a crest above initials, the stand with openwork skirt, one side opens to reveal the central burner, marked under kettle, on stand and on handle
