This clock, with its steel front plate and brass back plate, is very typical in construction for Polish clocks of this period. A clock with identical frieze by Hans Lucas, Thorn (south of Danzig), is in the collection of the Bayerisches National Museum, Munich and illustrated, K. Maurice, Die deutsche Räderuhr, Band II, Munich, 1976, fig 585. The frieze of that clock is attributed to the Jamnitzer workshop.
