With sloping walls and rounded base, the shoulder engraved with a beautiful inscription in large thuluth over dense foliated ground punctuated by six circular medallions with central whirling rosette, three-petalled flowers and stylized game birds, a band of dropping palmettes below, the centre engraved with six fish around a large whirling rosette, drilled hole to the rim, base later pierced with 14 holes, slight rubbing, no inlay remaining
14 3/8in. (37cm.) diam.

The inscription reads al-maqarr al-karim al-'ali al-mawlawi al-amiri al-kabiri al-maliki al-ghazi al-mujahidi al-murabiti al-muthaghiri al-humami al-nizami al-'alimi al-'amili al-amjadi al-kafili al-maliki al-nasiri (For the Honourable Authority, the High, the Lordly, the Great Amir, the Possessor, the Holy Warrior, the Defender, the Protector of Frontiers, the Valiant, the Orderly, the Learned, the Diligent, the Glorious, the Viceroy [an Officer of] al-Malik al-Nasir).
