With short pointed horns, with four lines of Old South Arabian text written across the front and sides of the face probably reading, 'Abd-Ka/shah/lah, and his son(?)/dhaban', the back with triangular-shaped hollow recess, top pierced, mounted

The florid ornate style of the text is familiar from the late 3rd Century A.D. inscriptions of the kingdom of Hadramaut on the eve of its conquest, circa A.D. 270, by the united kingdom of Himyar, incorporating Saba, Qataban and Main.
