the portfolio comprising 38 woodcuts, etchings, lithographs and facsimiles, some in colours, 1899-1900, from the set of forty on various papers, lacking the etching by M. Liebermann and a facsimile after Pisanello, edited by Otto Julius Bierbaum, A. W. Heymel, and R. A. Schröder, and published by Schuster & Löffler, Berlin and Leipzig, 1899-1900, the full sheets, all with the original printed tissue-paper covers, in a blue-grey cardboard folder with vellum spine, generally in good condition; with the first two years of the periodical in eight volumes; the first year copy number 31 of the deluxe edition of forty, on Van Gelder laid paper, in the original quarter vellum bindings, with the original glacine dustjackets and cardboard slipcases, in very good condition (portfolio and eight books)
