ATTRIBUTED TO CHRISTIAN GREINER THE ELDER AND YOUNGER (ACTIVE CIRCA 1694-1768), SOUTH TYROL, SECOND QUARTER 18TH CENTURY
Comprising St. Aegidius with a deer, St. Leonard with a chained prisoner and St. Valentine with a penitent figure on his back, all on scrolled bases, inscribed 'CG' and '1732' on the backs of St. Aegidius and St. Leonard respectively

Christian Greiner the Younger and Elder both worked in the South Tyrolean regions of Vientschgau and Brixon. And, although the figure of St. Valentine is not signed or dated, it appears likely it is by the same hands or workshop as the other figures.
