The rectangular solid three-quarter gallery above a plate-rail and concave-fronted frieze drawer flanked by side drawers, on spirally-reeded and foliate-carved baluster legs, on paw feet, the drawers lined in cedar and mahogany

The spiral reeding is a characteristic thought to be associated with furniture produced in Cork, Ireland. A sideboard with a similarly large-scale solid gallery is at Glin Castle, Co. Limerick and illustrated in The Knight of Glin & J. Peill, Irish Furniture, New Haven and London, 2007, p. 195, fig. 261.
