This and the following 5 lots are the very prints included in the exhibition 'Henri Cartier-Bresson' at the R.B.A. Gallery, London, in 1957, presented by Photography magazine at the instigation of Norman Hall. The prints are flush-mounted on heavy card to be fixed directly on the walls, without frames, in a manner that was widespread convention of the day. Reference numbers on the reverse tie them to the exhibition catalogue/checklist.
