According to the Archives of Montres Omega, the present watch was sold on 5 July 1958.
This watch is one of the exceedingly rare examples of the celebrated Constellation Grande Luxe model in white gold to appear in public to date. It is distinguished by its unusual two-tone white gold dial, beautifully harmonizing with the combination of the polished bezel and satined lugs of the case, rendering it a very distinguished, elegant look. The watch is furthermore preserved in very good overall condition, topping the overall appeal of this legendary timepiece.
Introduced into the market in 1953, the "Constellation Grande Luxe" was mainly available in yellow and pink gold. White gold examples, such as the present watch, are exceedingly rare.
