CIRCA 1ST-5TH CENTURY A.D.
Including one moulded with bird and vase on a vine leaf, 8.8 cm. long; another with a piriform amphora; a North African lamp with Chi Rho symbol and border of rosettes and palmettes; another similar with female profile head, 11.5 cm. long max.; four other lamps, one with an Emperor in profile to the right and inscription 'IMPERATOR AVITELIUS', the base ink inscribed, probably not ancient, 9.7 cm. long max.; and a group of miniature pottery vessels (18)

Acquired in the 1960s or early 1970s.

Christie’s charges a premium to the buyer on the Hammer Price of each lot sold at the following rates: 29.75% of the Hammer Price of each lot up to and including €20,000, plus 23.8% of the Hammer Price between €20,001 and €800.000, plus 14.28% of any amount in excess of €800.000.
