Gouache on paper, Durga riding her lion engages in fierce battle with multi-coloured demons assisted by various other deities and their vehicles including Shiva on the bull Nandi, Vishnu on Garuda and various other avatars, above Indra rides the white elephant followed by Brahma on a swan, in the foreground, Karttikeya, the son of Shiva and Parvati, a barren landscape behind them, within plain buff borders
