Of elegant form rising from vertical slightly spread foot through bulbous body and tapering neck to slightly everted rim, with simple handle connecting body and mouth, the main register with a broad band of thuluth benedictory inscription in black on a ground of spiralling vine, above a minor register of plaited strapwork and below an alternating loose cross and waterweed motifs, repaired breaks, some iridecense
