Early 18th Century
Enamelled and gilt at the centre with a biblical scene of the Baptism of Christ by St. John in the River Jordan beneath a dove in flight, the border with two sprays of composite fruit branches held at the top by an exotic bird and two putti holding ribbons at either side of the inscription Mat.3.16 below, some rubbing of the gilt, very faint hairline
