The plain circular body with chased line at the lip, the shaped flat handle engraved with infant Bacchus astride a barrel, holding a bottle in one hand and a glass in the other, with inscription VIVE BACU, and applied ring beneath, engraved on the side with name Nicolas Pimont, marked on side, handle and ring -- 8.4 cm (3¼ in) diam.
