Of baluster shape, on three hoof feet headed by cartouches decorated with chased and matted croisillons, the body elaborately chased with panels of foliage, fruit and flowers and a coat-of-arms enclosed in similar cartouche beneath Marquis' coronet, the angular spout chased with acanthus and foliate garland with flowers, with scroll-shaped wooden handle, the domed cover similarly chased rising to the flower and pine-cone finial, marked on base, cover and spout -- 27 cm (10½ in) high
