Oval, the hinged cover with gadrooned border, engraved with 'PV' monogram with Royal princess' coronet above, marked on side and inside cover, the base engraved 'CARRINGTON 130 REGENT ST'

The monogram is that of Princess Victoria (1868-1935).

Princess Victoria, (1868-1935), fourth child and second daughter of King Edward VII (1901-1910) lived at Coppins in the village of Iver, Buckinghamshire, which she bequeathed to her nephew Prince George, Duke of Kent on her death in 1935.
