BORDEAUX FROM THE 1960S, 1970S AND EARLY 1980S
The first offering of Bordeaux in the catalogue contains the older vintages of the collection. At the beginning we have one of the greats: 1961 Mouton-Rothschild quickly followed by a rare double-magnum of 1962 Lafite-Rothschild. Into the 1970s, and the first highlight is 4 magnums of the excellent 1970 Ducru-Beaucaillou, swiftly followed by 1975 Pétrus and the monumental 1975 Giscours in magnum and bottle. Lots 46 and 47 are two mixed lots of Vieux Château Certan, a great favourite of the owner and we complete the section with a flurry of 1982s including Pétrus.
