These folios are possibly from the Sayyid Dynasty (1414-1451AD) in the Sultanate period. The Muhaqqaq script follows the style of Sheikh Zadeh, the grandson of the great Ilkhanid calligrapher Sheikh Suhrawardy. The script bears similarities particularly in the way that the letters are truncated at the end of each of the lines with carved inscriptions found in the tomb of Jam Nizamuddin, the second ruler of the Samma dynasty of Sindh (1335-1520AD).
