Each shaped oval, the gadrooned border with acanthus at intervals, the border engraved with accolé coat-of-arms and a crest, each marked on reverse, also stamped with numbers 354 and 299

The arms are those of Battenberg accolé with the Royal arms of Great Britain with those of Saxony on an escutcheon of pretence, as borne by Prince Henry Maurice of Battenberg, KG, and his wife, Princess Beatrice, 5th daughter of Queen Victoria. They were married in 1885.
