Muhammad Zaman al-Tabrizi, who was originally from Kirman but grew up in Tabriz, is recorded by Qadi Ahmad as a scribe of manuscripts as well as calligraphic pages. His only other recorded works are three calligraphic pages of which one is dated AH 994 (Mehdi Bayani, Ahval ve Asar-e Khosh-Nevisan, Vol.III, Tehran, 1348 sh., p. 740, and V. Minorsky, A Treatise by Qadi Ahmad Son of Mir Munshi, Calligraphers and Painters, translated by V. Minorsky, Washington, 1959, p. 166).
