YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
With gently rounded sides molded as eight petals radiating from a shou character in the center to the shaped rim, the petals painted with a dense pattern of scrolling green tendrils bearing lingzhi and smaller shou characters, this pattern reinterpreted in a narrow band on the otherwise white exterior

While Yongzheng period dishes of this form are known, those in the doucai palette appear to be quite rare. Compare the Yongzheng mark and period yellow-glazed mallow-form dish of slightly larger size (27.7 cm.) in the Zhuyuetang Collection, illustrated in Shimmering Colors: Monochromes of the Yuan to Qing Periods, Hong Kong, 2005, pp. 200-1, no. 125.
