The circular clockcase supported by two rectangular pilasters surmounted by a triangular pediment applied with military trophees and with an eagle holding a coat-of-arms to the top, flanked to each side by a fluted column applied with flaming wings and surmounted by a recumbent lion, on a black marble plinth base, twin-barrel eigth-day movement with anchor escapement, silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell; sun-burst pendulum, winding key
