Of inverted trumpet-shape, with herringbone shaped appendages, the circlet applied with Egyptian mask mounts, hung with chains of faceted and graduated beads with cobalt glass dish to the base and panel to the top

The attribution is based on a very similar six-light chandelier of virtually identical proportions and signed 'CHB' within the upper corona, sold at Bukowskis, Stockholm, 29 November - 1 December 1995, lot 466. Carl Henrik Brolin was recorded in Stockholm in 1801 as a caster in brass.
