The inverted breakfront shaped rectangular moulded top with rounded angles, above three open compartments, each fitted with two adjustable shelves, with spirally-reeded column supports, on reeded tapering feet, the back feet probably replaced

Mr Marcus Tillotson (1915-2005) was the nephew of the 1st Viscount Leverhulme. He was a well-known figure in Bolton, acting as Chairman of The Bolton Evening News from 1956-1971, the company his grandfather founded in 1867.
