This 'cheval' dressing-glass frame, commissioned around 1815 for the 'Maroon and Buff Bedroom' at Tew Park, Oxfordshire by M.R. Boulton (d.1842), was supplied by George Bullock (d.1818) and invoiced for £25 in 1817 as part of, '1 Oak Cheval Glass frame & Glass. Holly mouldings'.
