Timur's purported autobiography, Persian manuscript on gold-sprinkled paper, 59ff. each with 15ll. of black nasta'liq, text panels outlined in pink, green and gold rules and folios with red and gold outer rules, opening folio with gold and polychrome headpiece, text in clouds reserved against gold ground and margins with gold scrolling vine and flowerhead illumination on cobalt-blue ground, note following the colophon in clouds reserved against gold ground stating that it was a gift to the Prime Minister in Shawwal 1268, occasional marginal notes in black nasta'liq, slight loss to final page
