2005 ***** A vintage much heralded and achieving considerable acclaim from almost the moment the grapes were picked following well nigh ideal growing conditions... Before preparing my notes for publication, I was inclined to think that this was probably an over-hyped, overrated vintage. Having assembled them, however, it is perfectly apparent the 2005 is unquestionably a vintage of the highest and, on the whole, most uniform quality M.B.
