A LARGE FREE STANDING OPAQUE ROCK CRYSTAL

White to greyish-white in colour, this translucent, almost opaque stone is made of silicon dioxide. Its prism-like, hexagonal crystals are identical to those found in rock crystal, often located in the same deposit

Variété blanche à blanc grisâtre, translucide à presque opaque, du dioxyde de silicium. Ses cristaux prismatiques hexagonaux sont identiques à ceux du cristal de roche. On les rencontre souvent dans le même gisement
