Set with a round-shaped cat's eye alexandrite weighing 5.40 carats, within an alexandrite trim to the pavé-set diamond surround and bifurcated half-hoop, mounted in platinum, ring size 5½
Accompanied by report no. 0808196 dated 2 September 2008 from the Gübelin Gemmological Laboratory stating that the 5.40 carat alexandrite is a natural chrysoberyl of Brazil origin, colour change in daylight: green, in incandescent light: purple, with additional comment stating that this gemstone displays a distinct colour-change combined with a well-centered and pronounced chatoyancy
