One side painted with an Oriental seated at a low table beside a vase and a monkey, a steaming brazier nearby, the other side with an Oriental seated on a low covered table playing with a monkey by vases of utensils, within shaped oval gilt line cartouches with gilt and iron-red Laub-und-bandelwerk, the loop handle and short straight spout with a delicate spray of indianische Blumen, the domed cover with a continuous landscape with trees on islands within a double iron-red line and gilt border, below a gilt oviform finial (minute chip to footrim)
