QIANLONG (1736-95)
The base section with a central splat with ruyi-shaped apertures above a shaped apron of rocks emerging from waves, flanked by two arched supports each with two floral roundels amongst foaming waves, the upright shafts with elaborate coiled dragons grasping flaming pearls, below two arched pediments deeply cast with further confronting dragons chasing flaming pearls amongst cloud scrolls
