The jug late 17th Century, the mounts with maker's mark as an anchor struck twice, possibly for Henricus van Anckeren (1674 - 1723)
The balustroid body with a pinched neck, with tiny spout, on pinched base, with ear handle, the flat silver cover engraved with a wreathed coat of arms accolés, probably for de Smeth, connected with a shell thumb piece to the partly mounted handle
