The black label with gold name is indicitive of a date in the mid 1920s. Her early adoption of black has resulted in Chanel sometimes being known as the creator of the iconic 'Little Black Dress'; the example presented here is a perfect example of her signature simplicity of design, elegance, and innate wearability.
