With an arrangement of moulded drawers depicting scenes of battle and siege around a central arched cabinet depicting a seated monarch among his court, flanked by tapering columns and enclosing a further series of small drawers, the case with a monogram to the top surface and the sides depicting Italian townscapes, some of the ivory panels possibly of earlier date
