A FAMILLE NOIRE TEABOWL AND MARRIED SAUCER
KANGXI (1662-1722)
The teabowl enamelled in the interior with birds, insects, flowers and rockwork in petal-shaped lappets around a central flower-head medallion, all reserved on a tomato-red ground, the exterior with birds and prunus on a black ground, the saucer with similar lappets and medallion reserved on a yellow ground, the underside with four prunus branches on a black ground, both with underglaze blue lingzhi marks within double circles
