Thomas W. Beaumont, by whom given to his wife, Helen, according to a note of provenance ('Nov 9th 1969 Dear Helen, These two pens were the property of T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). They were trodden on by a camel & broken. I exchanged them & let him have one of mine in good condition for them. That was in Abu Lissan in 1918. I thought they would make a nice souvenir for you, so accept them with my love. They may be worth something one day. Tom. T.W.
