The Duchess of Elisabeth Caroline of Lotharingen presented her daughter-in-law Maria Theresia, on the occasion of the marriage to her son Franz II of Lotharingen, a diamond corsage which she is wearing in the present portrait. This diamond corsage became later the famous Rosenkollier at the court in Austria.
On the sculpted pedestal to the left of Maria Theresa is the ducal crown of Kloster Neuburg.
