A Japanese concertina album, late 19th century
containing twenty-four woodblock prints variously depicting ladies and children in interiors, on terraces, in gardens and walking in towns and villages, some wearing European clothes, others traditional costume, some prints with men in military uniforms and European suits and hats -- each print 6¼in. x 8¾in. (15.9cm. x 22.2cm.), each with one seal; and a sheet from an oban triptych with two ladies in European dress walking before a torii with two gentlemen in military uniform, framed and glazed. (2)
