Action patent use-numbers No. 1768 and No. 1769, fine rose and acanthus leaf scroll engraving, retaining some original colour hardening, gold inlaid 'safe', gold inlaid numbering '1' to top-lever, forend-tip and game rib, numbering '2' to top-lever and forend only, gold inlaid 'Dickson's Patent' to action-base, No. 1 with chopper-lump barrels of Vicker's steel, game rib engraved with '32 Hanover Street', and third- bite extension, No. 2 gun with replacement barrels by the Maker, engraved '21 Frederick Street', again with third-bite extension.
Weight 5lb 13½oz., 6lb 2oz., 14½in. and 14 5/8in. stocks, 27in. barrels, chokes approx. ½ and 7/8, ¼ and ½, 2½in. chambers to both, nitro proof
In Maker's velvet lined leather case with Maker's oil bottle and snap caps, with outer canvas cover (2)
