The firm of Baguès Frères, Paris, working from the 1930s, produced lighting fixtures and iron work in both modern and old taste. They elaborated and mixed the two, using fountains, fruit, flowers, animals and even a windmill for their subjects. Their preferred media were clear or opalescent glass beads and rock crystal set in silvered or gilt mounts.
