the top carved with warriors standing on wooden quays, reaching with their spears towards two men battling with swords in a river, all below cloud scrolls, the riverside with pine and other trees amidst rockwork, the slanted sides with panels enclosing archaistic chilong dragon scrolls reserved on a leiwen ground, above the stright sides with a floral cash motif pattern, the black lacquered interior with nine sweetmeat dishes -- 13¼in. (33.6cm.) wide.
