The present work depicts the swimming pool in the Willesden Sports Centre, Donnington Road, Willesden. The drawing is an early drawing of the subject and was illustrated on the poster of an exhibition at the Whitechapel Art Gallery. The artist gave it to a friend who asked him to sign it.
