A Tibetan gilt bronze model of Chakrasamvara and consort Vajravahari
the fourteen armed deity stands in pratyalidhasara atop a recumbant beast and prostrate corpse, in a divine embrace with his shakti, wearing his red hair tied high behind an ornate headdress decorated with skulls, also with turquoise inlaid jewellery and a necklace of severed heads, holding in his principal hands a kapala and fish, the others with various Buddhist attributes including an elephant skin cloak, all upon a double lotus base - 14 1/8in. (35.8cm) high.
