Very thinnly potted, delicately enamelled with a lady and a boy in a tent, beside a Bactrian camel under a tree, all between a band of ruyi lappets suspending tassels around the neck and key-pattern around the foot, the base with an apocryphal blue enamel Qianlong four-character mark

Wang Futao was a major artist in the famous studio of Wu Aisheng which was operating in the early 1920s. These vases were made for presentation and were not allowed to be signed by the artist. It is therefore particularly rare to have the orginal signed box.
