A rare set of black and white contact prints by Robert Freeman, 1964, each head and shoulder portrait of John Lennon an out-take for the cover photograph of his first book In His Own Write, all 12 images numbered by the photographer in white ink, the contact sheet additionally signed and inscribed by Freeman on the reverse, initially in June 1964 in pencil and recently in February 2006 in black felt pen, each print -- 2½x2½in. (6.4x6.4cm.), sheet -- 7¾x10½in. (9.7x26.7cm.), in window mount signed by photographer in black felt pen; accompanied by an authenticity document signed and inscribed by Robert Freeman
